●An anti-vibration desktop worktable is equipped with four mini-castors. There are four vibration isolation modules located under the table, each of which contains an air-cushion and a flexible highly-damping rubber membrane to support the table and to reduce vibrations. When external vibration sources act on
the table, air will flow throughout the air chambers or between the chambers and the air tank, thus reducing vibrations and maintaining the table horizontal. Compact design, rapid responses to vibrations and extraordinary stability, low natural frequency and self-centering piston designs all make this series of tables suitable for small-scale experiments, demonstrations and instruments that have high requirements for vibration isolation, and they can be operated in narrow working spaces. |

| Selection of table materials |
◆ Marble
Marble tables have smooth and bright surfaces with good
temperature stability, especially suitable for precise analytical
balances, other devices and equipment that have high requirements
for temperature stability.
◆ Solid chemical-resistant laminates
Chemical-resistant laminates can resist acid, alkali and erosion and
are easy to clean, especially suitable for biochemical test rigs and
equipment that require tables with anti-corrosion characteristics.
◆ Optical breadboards
M6 threaded holes are standard, surface is processed by fine-grinding,
surface flatness is 0.1mm/600mm2 and reduces stray light effectively.
This kind of material is especially suitable for establishment of optical
experiments and installations. |

Air inflation is done in two ways |
Simple air inflation devices or air tanks/low-noise air pumps.
◆Simple air inflation devices can be used, such as inflating pumps
and treadle air pumps. Air inflation is easy. It is an air-storage
design; no inflation will be needed for a long time after inflation,
so it is possible to utilize it under conditions where compressed
air is not available. Horizontal control and adjustments are done
manually.
◆Air tanks or low-noise air pumps are the other option. Self-balance
horizontal control system is adopted to ensure the optimum vibration
isolation condition at all times, which does not need manual adjustment. |
